Decided to give this place a second chance after they failed on my first try. THAT was my mistake! I WILL NOT spend a DIME at this location EVER again! The first time they forgot dressing for the salad we ordered, not a huge deal until they made it a 45 minute wait. This time it was an online order, stated the normal hour, hour and ten minutes until delivery. Two minutes past the latest projected delivery time a phone call to the store gets me a "the driver just left" response from the lady who answered my call. Thirty three minutes after that my next phone call gets me a "sorry we were busy from the football game, and you should've been quoted delivery times were an hour to an hour and a half" response, to which I explain to Melanie (the manager I spoke with) that its been WELL past that time frame, she apologized and did as any food manager should and attempted to remedy the problem by offering a free meal on them next visit. I explained that wouldn't be necessary as I won't be giving them the option to screw up a third time! As I stated earlier, we ordered online, at 6:15, our food did not get to our house till well after 8. The the driver apologized for the delay and explained that it took so long because they were short of delivery drivers...I'm sorry?!? Football game or not, don't use the manager or owners lack of planning as an excuse for why it takes over two hours to get food ten minutes from your business! It's a shame, because the pizza is generally pretty good. But not worth the headache of having to deal with THIS location! Save yourself the time AND frustration, go to a different Carbone's!

Carbone's is a good stop if you are in the mood for some Hot Dago's or a pizza in Cottage Grove. In fact, it is the only sit down restaurant of this kind there so you don't really have much choice if that is what you are in the mood for. I usually come here on my way home from a long day skiing at Afton Alps, and nothing hits the spot better. The sandwiches are excellent and the Pizzas are good. They do tend to be on the greasy side, but they are not too bad. Just don't bring calorie counters with you... Unless you like watching them squirm :) As for the decor, it is fairly simple, with a few LCD tv's on the wall where sports are played. I believe they often have Fantasy football drafts here for people's leagues, so if you are in need of a location it might be worth a look. At any rate, give it a shot if in the area as it will fulfill your needs, but I wouldn't drive across the cities for it.

Their pizza is great, it has a nice thin crust just the way I like it. Don't expect a huge beer selection, just the basics.

Carboni's is another one of my favorites whenever I am visiting relatives. Needless to say that it is all of the rage among twin citians alike. We had the pepperoni and sausage pizza. Their pizzas are the square type and have a crispy crust, fresh toppings (fresh mozzarella, tdner and delicately spiced meat balls and pepperoni, and a zesty red sauce.) Sure,! the pizza is a little greasy, but I would not have it any other way, just as long as it is not excessively like Domino's and Pizza Hut. So, for excellent pizza at reasonable, weather dining in, carrying out, or delivery, Carboni's cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.!

Crispy Crust! Went to Carbone's on a recent evening. We were looking for the one in Woodbury, but ran into this one first, so we pulled in. It's in another non-descript suburban strip mall - shocking, I know. I have been to a basketful of other Carbone's locations, but it's been a while. I forgot how good it is. We each ordered a Diet Pepsi and had a garlic cheese bread appetizer (if we are having pizza, we might as well go all out, right?) and a large pizza. The red sauce that came with the cheese bread had some nice hunks of garlic swirled in. The bread was cheesy and hot! It was 2 pretty big pieces, or enough for one person as part of meal. The large pizza came and I was pleasantly surprised. The crust was crispy, the sauce was plentiful and a bit tangy, the cheese was spread to the ends and there was a good amount of toppings. The whole meal was under $25 and there were leftovers. From the food to the service and the cleanliness of the place, I have no complaints. Since there aren't many places to eat in the area, it's a good spot to check out when you want something quick and casual on a evening.
